A spin off from the Sanderson Hook designed in collaboration with Dawson Moore of Michigan Sloyd. A squat, beefy hook hung from an 18" long handle. Good for deep shapes and heavily skewed cuts inside cups and vessels down to around 3 or 4 inches round. Spoon mule users will find powerful leverage employing both hands for hollowing tasks. At the bench and in large shapes this hook offers the ergonomics of a pulling cut and wide stance - both hands can pull together or set one hand as a fulcrum and work the hook from the long end of the handle.
Hand Forged from 1084 Carbon steel with Black Locust handle timber. Blade length approximately 2.5" and handle length approximately 18"
